Greetings. New to the crew. Wanted to come in an say a few words.
I have been in the same crew, Hells Warriors, since I started playing the game since April 2007. A few months into the game, I was gone for several months. I returned, and found I was still in the guild listed as a Retired Honored. Few people left and the guild was then under the control of another player. Since my return, that player has been quite bossy to every. Other than pressures for people to level up fast, and issues with item recalling, I had little to do with him. A few weeks back now, I asked him a simple question which I can understand if he misunderstood, but he exploded on me. I have been told he was doing so on a lot of people. This past week, fights were going on in chat and he, and then another high ranked player, were abusing the mass button as their weapon. They were saying the stupidest things a leader should not be saying. All because of another misunderstand from another player. They kicked that player out. I then told those two leaders that their methods of using mass were wrong, and then I was threaten to "drop it". Not asked. "Threaten". So, I did them all a favor and left. He then comes around, in chat (before I left) telling me that as a Hells Council Adviser (my rank at the time), I should not be questioning their methods. I told him that I will question anyone, and it was not I who wanted this rank. He gave it to me even when I objected. I am pretty sure that got a lot of people's attention in chat.
Since I left, others have quit and others will follow. They say things are falling apart in there. Glad I got out.
Then I came here. A crew where some other members are Christians.
Well, about me? Not much to tell, since I am a private person. I can say I am a very busy person. I get to access my computers a few times a day and even on them, I am busy. In the house, out the house, traveling the country, doing my school work (bachelors of technology degree in game and simulation programming). Most of my time is with the house, family, and school. I try to get some gaming in, but have little time for those too. And I was once a Nintendo World Championship semi-finalist in 1990.
Games, well, I literally have thousands, all on the PC. From single file games to emulated games to DVDs. A few free MMOs as well, mainly from Aeria. Currently the current local games I am playing are Left Behind: Eternal/Tribulation Forces on the laptop, and Spider-man: Friend or Foe on the main PC. I want to try modding Star Trek: Legacy someday, and I still think I will get back into modding Star Trek: Armada 2. Not happening even after all these years.
The only kinds of games I do not play or like to play are sports, eh, and man on man games like Hitman or Grand Theft Auto. I will blow up starship and blast aliens and demons, but human on human is not my gig. Unless, of course like a side scroller fighting game like MK or SF, but nothing else.
Do I play sports? Somewhat. I am into martial arts. I play paintball. Skydrive is the newest. I do soccer but it has been years since I played since, down here, I have no one to play with.
I am in North Carolina. Formally Massachusetts.
Time is tight and money is tighter!

CHARACTER CROSS REFERENCES
Han Solo (Star Wars). For being a risk taker.
Grumpy Bear and Bed Time Bear (Care Bears). Obviously why.
Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh). I am gloomy.
Bruce Lee. I used to fight like him.

Chandler (Friends). I make stupid jokes.
The (original) Hulk (of the 80s The Incredible Hulk). I can look like the short, non-green, Italian version when mad.
